This week, we presented at the University of Warwick‘s Inclusion Conference, supporting HR professionals in understanding how executive functioning plays a critical but often overlooked role in workplace inclusion.
The session explored how challenges such as time management, emotional regulation, communication difficulties, or resistance to change can often be traced back to differences in executive functioning. We shared strategies and trauma-informed practices that can help create more inclusive, compassionate, and resilient interactions.

Attendees told us the session helped them:
– Think differently about behaviour through an executive function lens
– Reflect more deeply on their executive function strengths and challenges
– Show greater compassion for other people’s challenges
– Begin to apply coaching conversations in their work
Thank you for the invitation to present, and to everyone who took part and brought curiosity and honesty to the conversation.
